Job Description


Our client, a leading UK Public Sector organisation, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their highly strategic Procurement team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial analyst to be part of a dynamic team.

Duties of the role include providing an effective analytical and reporting service to the commercial team, enabling savings and driving compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing project and activity dashboard reports, as well as preparing weekly, monthly, and annual returns. They will also serve as the main point of contact for producing reports from the e-procurement system, leading on data collection and inputting. Additionally, the Senior Data Analyst will provide spend analysis for specific categories and develop cost breakdown templates and quotation analysis as required.

The key requirements for this position include excellent knowledge of analytical systems, tools, and principles, as well as expert level Excel skills and prior experience with Power BI. A good understanding of the public sector, particularly within procurement, is desired, along with previous stakeholder engagement experience. Excellent communication skills are also essential.
