Our public sector client is seeking a Financial Accountant for a primarily remote position.
Your new role:
You will be responsible for preparing the statement of accounts, maintaining core controls and reconciliations, submitting returns, and providing support to the financial systems accountant. You will also assist with treasury management, bank reconciliations, and managing the insurance contract.
What you'll need to succeed:
For success in this role, you should be a qualified or part-qualified Accountant with experience in financial accounting, completing reconciliations and analyses to support financial controls, year-end reporting, and treasury management. Ideally, you will have worked in local government, the public sector, or an accountancy practice. Excellent communication skills and proficient knowledge of Excel are essential.
What you'll get in return:
This fully remote role offers a salary range of £41,000 - £46,000, generous holiday entitlement, and a 15% pension contribution from the employer.
