Solutions Architect

Secure Innovation, a part of CGI’s Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit, is seeking a Solutions Architect to deliver cutting-edge technical solutions for government agencies. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to leverage technology for competitive advantage. Our systems prioritize performance, security, reliability, and scalability and are built with modern CI and CD tools and techniques. We are looking for a cloud engineer with outside-the-box thinking to overcome technical challenges.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience developing high-quality technical solutions and designs for multi/hybrid cloud platforms, with a focus on modern serverless architecture (FaaS). Hands-on system engineering experience on cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP, is essential. You should also have knowledge of data storage technologies, steam processing, security architecture, integration, design patterns, and development using Java and Python. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Linux, microservices, and containerization technologies is also desired. Strong technical documentation skills are necessary.

This is a hybrid working role, with some travel to other CGI or client sites as necessary.
