Information Manager (HEO/SEO) - (SC Cleared) (Inside IR35)

Job Description


The Ministry of Defence is seeking an Information Manager (HEO/SEO) to join the Defence Afghan Relocation and Resettlement (DARR) Directorate in London. This is an initial 6-month contract, and the role requires SC clearance. The DARR Directorate is responsible for supporting eligible Afghans who have assisted the UK mission in Afghanistan to relocate to the UK and begin their new lives. The Information Manager will be part of the Data and Information Management team and will play a vital role in managing and exploiting data information within the Directorate. Responsibilities include advising the team on information-related matters, drafting and delivering information management policies, maintaining registered files, providing MODNET/DII(F) Secret User Account Management, and acting as the Data Protection Adviser. Previous experience as an Information Manager or in iHub is required, as well as active SC clearance. Previous experience in data protection advisory and public sector/Defence is desirable. This role falls under the Off Payroll Working in the Public Sector legislation and can only be worked within the UK.
