Searcys - Head Chef

Your key responsibilities will include organizing the successful operation of all food areas with the assistance of the appropriate Heads of Department, setting and maintaining operation standards, monitoring daily standards and reporting concerns to the Executive Chef, ensuring adherence to legislative and government guidelines, monitoring daily service in eating areas, ensuring staff are correctly dressed, ensuring all services are ready for operation on time, managing staffing levels, managing sundry expenditure, overseeing the day-to-day running of the main kitchen, ensuring smooth operations, conducting hygiene and personal hygiene checks, maintaining food standards, controlling waste, ensuring health and safety compliance, managing food purchasing, following Searcys personnel procedures, and any other reasonable requests from senior management.

To be successful in this role, you should be very well organized, able to prioritize workloads, and work well under pressure. You should have excellent standards and experience working in a 5-star hotel or Michelin star restaurant is essential. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are also important.
