Role Overview:
As a clinical expert, you will assess and examine individuals with disabilities and illnesses who have applied for Employment and Support Allowance. Through sensitive listening, questioning, and insights, you will report on how their disability or health condition affects their daily life. Your factual report will assist the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining their eligibility for benefits.
You will receive support to efficiently manage your caseload, allowing you to give consultations the attention they deserve. This role does not require long hours, night shifts, or taking work home.

Training & Development:
You will undergo a comprehensive induction and training program to ensure you are fully prepared for your role, earning over 100 hours of CPD within your first 3 months. Ongoing professional development opportunities will be provided throughout your career to keep your knowledge current, and you will have ample exposure to develop your skills and clinical knowledge.
Requirements:
- Current and fully GMC registered with a valid license to practice in the UK
- Eligibility to live and work in Northern Ireland (no sponsorship opportunities available)
- Minimum of 1-year post-qualification work experience in accordance with government legislation
- No previous assessor experience required as full training will be provided
- UK driving license not required for this role
