Public Policy Manager

Job Description

A Big Tech company's Northern Europe Policy team is looking for a Public Policy Programmes Manager to support the implementation of policy-related programmes and partner strategy in the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams within the organization and external stakeholders to execute our programs and partnerships. They will also be responsible for identifying new partnerships in emerging policy areas and developing our long-term program strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing innovative strategies and campaigns to shape public and political opinion in the UK and Ireland
  • Managing existing programmes and partnerships in the UK and Ireland
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes for UK and Ireland programs and partnerships
  • Mapping, monitoring, and analyzing potential policy partners in line with our company's priorities
  • Building coalitions and relationships with third parties in the UK and Ireland
  • Developing and executing communications strategies for our initiatives, programs, and partnerships
  • Representing the company in meetings with key stakeholders
  • Managing the procurement process for programs in the wider Northern Europe region

The top three essential skills for this role are budget and financial management experience, partnership management and program delivery skills, and a thorough understanding of UK politics.
