Market Research Interviewer - Car Required - Part Time

Job Description

We are seeking individuals who possess curiosity, enjoy engaging with people, and own a car. If this description resonates with you, we have an exciting opportunity to offer that will break you out of your daily routine. In this role, you will have the chance to meet new people, explore new places, and be part of a journey that challenges the status quo and influences everyday matters that impact us all.

At Ipsos UK, we are a globally recognized and leading market research company. We collaborate with clients across various sectors, including business, media, research, and local and national government. Our team takes pride in being curious and collaborative, with a commitment to delivering gold standard insights and data to our clients. We work hand in hand with our interviewers and clients, sharing common goals and open-mindedness.

Regardless of your experience level, we are prepared to invest in you. Whether you are just starting your career, looking to change careers, or already have experience in market research, we will provide you with extensive training and personalized guidance from the moment you join us. Our panel of experienced interviewers will share valuable skills, and we will provide full project briefings. Additionally, you will have a dedicated New Starter coach available to support you during your first six weeks. Our goal is to ensure you feel confident and equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.

As a vital member of our interviewer panel, your role will involve visiting homes in your local area (and potentially beyond) to collect the views and opinions of the British public throughout the year. Your persuasive abilities will be put to use in encouraging individuals to participate in our surveys, enabling them to influence the world with their opinions. To be eligible for this role, access to a car is required. Typically, you will be expected to travel within a 30-mile radius of your home address while working. Rest assured, we will reimburse your mileage costs. Success in this role requires self-motivation, organization, and a target-driven mindset. It is an ideal position for those seeking flexible hours, as you will have the freedom to choose when to work, although some evenings and weekends will be necessary to meet targets. We do request a minimum commitment of 2-3 days (12-18 hours) per week.

In return, we offer a competitive compensation package, including guaranteed pay of £12 per hour during your 8-week training period. Additional benefits include holiday allowance, pension contributions, fortnightly pay cycle, and access to our wellbeing and discount platform, which offers vouchers and savings on everyday items. Once you transition to performance-based pay, you can expect competitive rates in the sector, with average rates ranging from £14.00 to £17.00 per hour based on project requirements, including evening and weekend hours. Mileage costs will be reimbursed, and the role offers flexibility in terms of working days and hours. This position is ideal for individuals seeking part-time work with a minimum commitment of 2-3 days per week.

We are committed to your support and development. You will have access to dedicated support teams, an accredited training period with live support and online learning, and one-on-one coaching. We also provide opportunities for career development and progression, and you can connect with other interviewers through our social media communities and in-person coffee mornings. Face-to-face and remote project briefings will ensure you are well-prepared for success.

If you believe you are the right fit for this role and own a car, we invite you to apply now and begin your journey. By completing our award-winning training program, you will gain accreditation and have the satisfaction of knowing that your work makes a difference on both a local and national level. Join us as a game changer and be part of a company proud to be one of The Times' Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality 2023.
