Interim Head Of ER

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Head of Employee Relations to join an NHS Trust located just 25 minutes from London Bridge. In this role, you will take charge of the Employee Relations team and ensure the delivery of a cohesive and standardized service that consistently provides high-quality advice and support to managers and staff within the Trust.

Your main responsibility will be to work closely with the team to establish best practices and implement a smart approach to the provision of Employee Relations services. Leadership, direction, and development of the Employee Relations function will be key to your success in this role.

It is essential that you have a proven track record in providing leadership and guidance, as well as experience in managing complex cases, including MHPS. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate expertise in employment law, providing advice on related issues, and collaborating with solicitors on employment tribunals.

This is an interim position lasting 3 to 6 months. While having NHS experience is preferred, candidates with experience in a similar role within a large public sector organization will also be considered. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with the requirement to be on-site 2 or 3 days per week.
